Tuesday, December 18
5:30 - 7:00 pm
Community Solstice Spiral

Come find your quiet strength and guiding light that will see you through the darkest, coldest days of the year. This tradition, practiced in Waldorf schools the world over but plucked from much older roots, provides a meditative space for us to focus our energy for the challenges to come. A spiral is laid out for you to walk and candles are provided to light your way.

The students will walk the spiral the following day with their class.

Thursday, December 20
1:30 - 2:15 pm
Festival of Lights

Families are invited to attend this all school assembly. Come enjoy a puppet play and community sing-along to start your winter vacation off right!

From 2:20 – 2:40 pm we will have an open dismissal for parents/guardians to bid faculty and staff a happy holiday and clean out cubbies before the break. Children can bypass the car line and leave with parents/guardians.

Important Note: There will be no Aftercare, all children must be collected during normal dismissal (2:25 – 2:40 pm).

Friday, December 21 - Friday, January 4

There is no school on Friday, December 21. We will see you on Monday, January 7!

Curious Questions   (1)
Can my child still experience Eurythmy?

The answer is yes. While we are still working on our school-wide Eurythmy program, parents are encouraged to reach out to Ms. Rohde for Therapeutic Eurythmy sessions. She is offering off-site sessions for children and can answer all of your questions about what Therapeutic Eurythmy is and how it can benefit your child.

She can be reached at 916-849-5291 or 1johannarohde@gmail.com.

Thank you to everyone who made the Community Fair a success!

Cricket Hall was buzzing with cheer and goodwill. It was a lovely event where we celebrated our community, enjoyed each other’s company, and shopped from our peers and neighbors.

If you missed the fair, you will get more opportunities to connect with the community at the Solstice Spiral and Festival of Lights. We hope to see you there!
