Introducing Hannah Avellone as Faculty Chair

We are pleased to announce that Hannah Avellone has been confirmed by faculty and administration as our Faculty Chair.

In the absence of a Pedagogical Director many of these duties were taken up this year by specific committees, the faculty realized that there was a need for an individual to hold the whole and be able to direct and support all those pieces.  The Faculty Chair will also serve on the Interim Leadership Committee.

Social Inclusion Group Change

In January, Mx. Miller stepped down from the Social Inclusion Group.  They had served as Chair of the group.  If you have questions regarding the group’s work to foster our students’ social health, you can reach out to any of the members (Lucia Mancini, Meredith Merchant, Amanda Poll, Mat Riendeau, Peggy Lofgren).

Curious Questions   (1)
Is my donation tax receipt available online?

Yes!  You should have already received a copy of your letter via email.  If for some reason you did not, you can also find your letter in your BigSIS portal.  Click on “Donors” at the top of the page, then “Documents” on the left side.  You should see all official donation receipts there.

Thank you for your continued support of Urban Prairie!

Thank you to Scafuri Bakery!

Scafuri provided yummy cookies and decorating supplies for Saturday’s Early Childhood event.  Over 20 children and their parents gathered for a puppet play, cookie decorating, and outdoor (muddy) fun!
