Morning Lesson
This past week has been all about division. Mother earth’s division house was introduced. Her house looks just like the division symbol used in long division. Animals such as bunnies and squirrels have been knocking on her door for her delicious carrots. She has one rule: each animal receives the same amount and whatever is remaining goes in the basket for the raccoon. We will continue to work with the division house and remainders. Soon to join our daily practice of times tables are 7 and fun and easy 1.
Eurythmy Performance
This Wednesday, beginning at 6:00pm, 2nd-6th grade will have the opportunity to perform for the community. If your child is unable to attend, then please let me know so that Ms. Rhode is prepared to make the necessary adjustments.
Book Study
In order to help foster a supportive environment for the children, our summer book study will begin with Little Girls can be Mean. Since this time of year is really busy, I have created a doodle poll for anyone interested in participating. First option is a little over a week away. This book is readily available at your local library. Please don’t let the title deter you from joining; the book study would be beneficial to all parents not just to those who have a daughter.
