Journal Writing & the worm bin:

After watching coconut coir expand from the addition of water. We brainstormed words to describe what they saw. Once the words were collected and written on the board, they were then given time to write in their journal. With Spring upon us, we will continue our journal writing to include our observations of nature.

Memory & Phone Numbers:

Do you remember when you used to have to remember everyone’s phone number memorized? How many numbers to do you know now? Well I have printed out a list of everyone’s phone number and starting this Friday I will be asking your children to tell me your number (mom and dad). So if your child does not already know your phone number then now is the time. If they do and you would like to expand their cache of numbers, email me grandma’s/neighbor/friend/aunt/uncle …..anyone number you would like them to memorize.
